“I need to think about it.”

Most times, the first response to my offer of 401(k) investment advice.

It sounds reasonable.
Even thoughtful.

But most of the time it is knee jerk.
Unthinking.
Leave me alone.

Why?

Because individual 401(k) investors don’t see the value of what I’m offering.
You have never seen the numbers.
The dollar amount of value in strategic 401(k) investment advice.

Not blaming them.
It’s on me.

If I get a chance, I ask these questions:

What 401(k) challenges are they facing right now?

What would cause stress or frustration in their 401(k)?

Do you realize how much money it has cost you to own the wrong 401(k) funds?

Most individual investors think stock market volatility is their largest 401(k) risk.

It’s not.
The cost of inaction is your largest 401(k) risk.
You let bad 401(k) mutual fund choices compound.

Want to see the dollar amount of your bad 401(k) mutual fund choices?
