Technical Analysis of Your 401(k)

by Ric Lager | Jun 11, 2015 | 401k Advice, Blog, Educational | 0 comments

There are many really smart people from all over the world trying to make money in the U.S. stock markets. No single company or group of investors has a huge advantage over any single company 401(k) retirement plan investor.

The most important company 401(k) retirement plan account investment management challenge is to find the best stock mutual funds to be invested in over the long term. The investment management decision of WHAT TO BUY is critical.

No one can predict with any high level of certainty, or consistency, the next direction of the stock markets. However, there is one set of tools that can get closer than anything else that I have heard or seen.

Technical analysis can provide a daily update and understanding of individual mutual fund outperformance. I use this investment management discipline to provide my individual investment advice clients with a better understanding of what mutual funds to own on their company 401(k) retirement plan menu.

Technical analysis applied to a company 401(k) retirement plan menu can answer two very important investment management questions.

Is the stock market on offense or defense?

If the stock market is on offense, what are the best mutual funds available to me on my company 401(k) retirement plan menu?

WHAT TO BUY is one of the basics of technical analysis. This independent, third-party source of company 401(k) retirement plan menu analysis can improve long-term investment performance.
