“I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.”
Thomas Jefferson

Luck can play a big part in anyone’s life.  This includes making investment decisions in your Minnesota company 401(k) retirement plan.

Investment knowledge and experience is important.  But many times I have seen luck play a big part in how much money is available for a comfortable retirement.

The key is having investment luck to find you.  Investment luck is much more likely to come your way if you continue to pay close attention to your 401(k) investments early in your working career.

The 2014 stock market advance has provided a great retirement plan windfall for company 401(k) retirement plan participants. Most every company 401(k) retirement plan mutual fund option is now at multi-year price highs.

Make your next 401(k) investment management decision now. Decide that you are not going to fully participate in the next great stock market decline. Vow that you will not give back the majority of your stock market gains again.

Put in a little more hard work now watching your current company 401(k) account. You will be much more likely to receive the investment luck that you need later on when both the economic and stock market environments change.

It is always good luck to ride the stock market up. And it is always bad luck to ride it back down again. Change your stock market and 401(k) luck once and for all.
